Most of the time, sexually-transmitted infections (or STIs) have no symptoms. So, testing is the only way to know for sure if you have an STI. If you’re sexually-active, it’s important to get tested regularly — especially when starting a new relationship.

At Doctors Express, we make the process of getting tested as easy and discreet as possible. Choose one or more of the following tests — or just ask for our ‘new relationship package’, which covers the full-range of common sexually-transmitted infections:

  • Chlamydia
  • Gonorrhea DNA
  • Hepatitis B core antibody (HBcAB)
  • Hepatitis C antibody
  • Herpes Simplex, Type 1
  • Syphilis RPR-VDRL
  • HIV 1 & 2
  • Hepatitis B surface antibody (HBsAb)
  • Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)
  • Trichomonas
  • Mycoplasma Genitalium

Even if you’re in a long-term, monogamous relationship, it’s possible for you or your partner to have a previously-undiagnosed and untreated STI. Getting tested regularly not only looks after your own sexual health, but also that of your partner(s).

What does an STI test involve?

During your visit, one of our physicians will take you to a private room, where they will ask about your medical and sexual history. Depending on the tests you need, they may take a urine sample or a blood sample. It’s that simple.

We would be happy to speak with you about safeguarding your sexual wellness. You can visit us any time from 9 AM – 9 PM every day. No appointments are necessary — just walk in at your convenience.
